[For Sale] 2004 Discovery 3 TDV6 S
It's time to re-home my Disco 3. I have owned it since 2011 and it has served me well, but it's getting tired now and needs to go to someone with the skills to look after it.
Over the years it has been well looked after and everything that has needed replaced has been.
It has done just under 239k miles and will be celebrating its 20th birthday in October this year.
Mechanically, everything works as it should, apart from the front parking sensor, which needs replaced.
The MoT expires on 29th November 2024. There are some advisories relating to corrosion. I had a new compressor and air tank fitted two weeks ago and it was serviced last week.
During the service some corrosion was found and it was advised that the rear arms would need replacing, at a cost of around £100 plus fitting.
I have a pile of paperwork detailing everything that has been done during my 12 years of ownership.
Although there is almost a year's MoT and it has been serviced and everything works as it should (except the parking sensors), there is some work required to keep it going and get it through another MoT, or it can be used for spares.
It is really difficult to put a value on it, particularly as I have just put over £1000 into it in the last 2 weeks with the compressor, air tank and service.
I am thinking around £1500, but I'm open to offers.
I haven't washed it!

That is the exact reason she wont drive an auto - the cost of a clutch every few months is unbearable...
