[For Sale] 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S *Reduced*
Due to my inability to keep away from the classifieds I'm selling my D3 as I bought a D4 a couple of weeks ago. I bought the D3 as a second car having had a D1 and D2 a few years ago, I liked it so much it became my main car. I've done 7k in it since getting it at the end of January including one light laning trip in Yorkshire last month.
2006 TDV6 Auto S
MOT unitil 17th Feb 2024
Current mileage 145480, will increase slightly as I am using it to keep the battery charged etc.

March 2006 Registered so lower tax
No rips or tears in the seats, drivers foam base replaced
7 seater
Rear parking sensors
Heated front and rear seats
Heated windscreen partially working
HK audio with passive subwoofer
Xenon headlights retrofitted and CCF updated
Fixed tow bar with electrics
No faults or errors showing on the dash
Only issues I've had are a leaking front strut and the brake light switch which have both been replaced
Work done by me:
New BWI front struts
Timken front wheel bearing (other side was done before I got it)
Rear discs/pads/epb shoes
Corroded rear brake line replaced
New brake light switch
4x new Michelin Latitude Cross tyres, full sized spare
Service
Known work to be done:
Bearing type speed related whirr, not investigated cause
Rattle believed to be anti roll bar bushes. Bushes come with the car but not fitted
Diff oil, transfer box oil and fuel filter purchased but never got round to doing
Lower glovebox handle broken on one side but still functional
Drivers side rear door lock only works manually from inside
EPB squeaking, may need adjusting or repair but does work
Please not drivers side rear door trim was off the car when I got it, I have glued it on but it is a little warped.
After being sat for a week it has lost some height
Previous work:
2016 new hand break module
2017 new suspension compressor
2019 both rear upper suspension arms replaced, cam belts, new LR oil pump, aux bolt tensioner, oil seal, new rear tail gate latch, gearbox / torque converter Megaflush and new rear prop.

Hard to price as values vary so much. I paid £3500 in January and have put a bit into it but I'm hoping to sell on here to someone who knows what they're about and can continue the tinkering. If not I'll likely list it elsewhere for more.

I've put quite a bit of time money and effort into the car, was hoping it would go to another enthusiast but I can obviously only sit on it for so long.

Since writing my first response to your Ad, I’ve had my cheap run about written off - so I’m on the look out.
