[For Sale] 2009 59 Plate 3.0 Discovery 4 GS
The time has come for me to move on from my current D4 ownership with what has been a truly fantastic car. Very disappointed to be selling but due to work it wont get used at all over the next 12 months and I’d rather it not sit unused. Spec and details as follows:
2009 59 Plate 3.0 Discovery 4 GS
125k miles. FSH of both Land Rover and Land Rover specialist
All books and packs and both keys etc - I’m the 4th Owner from new
Stornoway Grey
Upgrades over the GS Spec include:
Full black leather from the factory and with heated electric adjustable front seats with the arm rests
Xenon headlights
Front fogs and parking sensors all round
Heated steering wheel
Flappy paddles on the wheel also
Centre console fridge.
Genuine LR Roof bars
Facelift from Grille (original will come with the car)
Fixed towbar with 13 pin electrics - never towed in my ownership
Pre DPF and Pre Adblue making maintenance and running much simpler and less problematic.
It has also had the following:
- Both cam belts tensioners and auxiliary belts replaced
- Both inlet manifolds replaced with genuine LR items by LRC in Congleton
- Gearbox flush and software update
-Just had two new rear upper arms and new rear drop links and full 4 wheel alignment.
- Chassis fully cleaned and wax oiled
- New high level rear brake light genuine LR installed by LRC
- New genuine fuel filter and housing fitted by LRC
-New genuine rubber mats
- sidesteps fitted approximately 12 months ago and sills were like new and well protected when the steps were fitted.
- 20” genuine LR wheels with 4 excellent and matching Michelin tyres with no repairs and plenty of life. The wheels are unmarked and like new.
- Full boot liner - has kept the boot clean when transporting two dogs
- Dog Guard (not included but can be negotiated into price)
Everything works as it should other than the radio head unit which has developed a fault and doesn’t turn on. Could be a simple fix but unsure so price is reflected in this. The car has been well maintained. MOT and service just done July 2023.
The bodywork is generally very good. There is a scuff on the rear bumper on one corner and two small car park door dinks ( one on the drivers side door and one on drivers side rear door.
I'm asking £7000.

Hi, would you take £6500, I've seen a D4 commercial that I can get for £4.5k, but I think it'll cost about £1.5k for seats and a bumper with fog lights.
