Hi new on here
Hi got a disco 3 yesterday after upgrading from my 300 tdi, hoping to find out the good and bad about these although on the way home from picking it up someone crashed in to the back of me, just lucky there was a tow bar

Welcome! Another manual too, a discerning choice i have to say! You'll soon find out the good and bad.
I had the same experience, some slammed into the back of me in stationary queuing traffic, got my tow bar stuck in his radiator, had to get the jack out to free it. I suggested leaving it on and letting tow him home but he wasn't keen!

I had a 300Tdi before my D3, but I had a Discovery2 4.0 V8 before the 300Tdi! Ive done it all in wrong order. Richard

how bad is the damage ?
Discos have an incredibly strong back bumper.
did it damage bodywork ?BREXIT - done properly.
