Dog Guard/Cargo Barrier

Due to the untimely demise of my beloved German Shepherd I now have a barely used dog guard/cargo barrier for the D3 that is surplus to requirements. I was going to stick it on ebay but wondered if any of you guys wanted first dibs? It comes with all the fittings and fitting instructions and is only three months old. I'm thinking of about £100 for it.

Check out my gallery for a photo of it in use...

Sorry to here about your dog, it looks far to young to have gone. Know how you possibly feel as we lost one of our chessies at 5yrs last summer.

So sorry to hear of the early demise of your G/S, was a very handsome looking dog.
Our 3 month old Whippet puppy very nearly drowned last week, very traumatic.
Dan, can you still use the loadspace cover with the Guard in place? I'm guessing you can't, but if you can I'd be interested.

Thanks for the kind words...

LT in answer to your question; I did use both but it's a bit of a tight fit. If you're going to be taking the guard in and out regularly then it would be a pain but as mine was in permanently it wasn't a problem. Basically you put the cover in first and fit the guard around it.

If you are interested I get down to Bristol on a regular basis if that's anywhere near you?

Dan

My chessies are from Molly (Chesapi -KN)and are from prize winning working stock. The one dog we have at the minute is just about ready/old enough just 2 (they take longer to settle than labs) to be trained for the gun.
We lost his mate last August @ 5 with some problems which we never got to the bottom of (sad loss) but they will work all day esp if water is involved. They can be stubborn Censored though.

Dan, sorry to hear of your loss, I have an idea of how you must feel having been through it too many times myself Sad

If LT decides not to have the guard I'll take it

Cheers
Si

We breed whippets hence the name (its our kennel prefix) but a mate has a chessie bitch, its built like a brick out house. A bit sharp but a very good wildfowling dog but he can't leave it with other dogs it killed one of his cockers Crying or Very sad I often hear people looking for them but they are pretty tough to find from decent working stock.

OK, if LT doesn't want it, it's yours.

Pelyma,
Think we have been here before, but point your friends in the direction of Molly
this is her web site, her dogs are great, nothing she doesn't know as she has been involved in the UK since day 1. Sorry she's a bit of a trek from your neck of the woods

Our current hound

Oh and forgot to mention he's happy to be left with other dogs, just he will not let them near his dish. Both Scooby and the older dog Bud are quite happy to be left in cars with other dogs (so long as they have met before) just don't leave anything they see as theirs in with them, cos they'll protect it.
