Brake dust?

Just a quick one guys, the disco always seems to have heavy brake dust covering the front alloys only a day or two after washing. i haven't got a clue what pads are on. is this normal ? If not what are the best pads to buy to reduce the problem but obviously keeping the disco in check. PS its the auto and don't want crap braking!! Cheers

I have green stuff pads on the back, I would say significanly less brake dust with them, the same company also do a specific 'low brake dust' pad, I can't remember which colour though. Alternatively could be down to calipers needing serviced or your diving style.

SWMBO is the driver most of the time Rolling Eyes but the build up does seem excessive.
