RAC man has been Rolling Eyes ...I eally dont know why we dont call LR assist??? unable to identify any faults.

I drove it yesterday...no faults...and drove very well...

The only thing that went wrong was

"BONNET OPEN" warning light...dodgy switch I suppose.

oh well we will wait and see if it breaks

Pull off connector under the driver's side bonnet latch. Stick a paper clip between the plug connectors, tape it up, and forget about it until you next go to the dealers. Worked for me Smile

Mine has just lost power twice in the last 2 days while under heavy acceleration
Car loses drve when the engine hits 3500 rpm.
Pull over, put the car in neutral and the engine revs ok
but it wont drive off, try again 10 seconds later and everything is OK.
Its like it loses "connection" between the motor and gearbox.

Norto, do you get an engine fault message appear ?
If so, it does sound like turbo!
As far as I understand its wear on the VNT mechanism,
which can jam and then release itself.
Hence it can drive ok for periods.

If the vanes jam open shouldn't there be a drop in
power not a total loss of drive.....

Depends whether they jam open or closed - I just said jammed.

"The mechanism normally jams in either the fully open or fully closed position resulting in no boost or too much boost from the turbo." from the following link:

Given the current climate I think the HA should go to 100% Discovery.
