In a word no. There hasn't been any official announcement and surprisingly no details leaked from any dealers. Cheers Ian

My theory is no MY13 as it's an unlucky number and might affect sales in the USofA market.

I am desperate to buy a D4 but don't want to commit to the current model if the rumoured new hybrid comes out in 4-6 months. How come there seems to be no news on the MY13 spec, and its August already !!! normally we would be picking up our next year models in a few months time...whats going on and why are landrover being so cagey ?

Personally, and I wish I could say this with more certainty, I hope that it is a case of Land Rover desperately trying to ensure that the hybrid engine system is perfected for the Discovery 4, RRS, and FFRR, in time for a Jan 2013 release.......
This would make sense as obviously they want to get a foothold in the market before anyone else does (or does properly), and we all know Land Rover - they usually come up with something new when they are inventing things, something no-one else has previously thought of or released beforehand! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I am in the US, Southern California, and tried to put in an order for a MY2013 HSE Lux (my kids having literally overgrown my beloved 2006 RRS...) The local dealer told me they won't be able to submit orders for MY13s until mid-September, for delivery in late November / early December.
I could have modified my order and they would build my 2012 now, but I decided to wait a couple of extra months as I am in no rush. No specs for MY13 Disco/LR4 are available yet. Dealer also said not to expect any substantial changes between thee two model years (although dealers always say that...), but this delay sure is puzzling, especially since the mechanically very similar 2013 RRS has been available at dealers here for several weeks already. From what I was told during my Factory Tour, there will definitely be a D5. They are proud of the Discovery's success and heritage. 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Just for kicks, I logged into TOPIX with my existing subscription and selected 2013 model year LR4 in the "Model Selection" pull-down menu of the home page. One engine only pops up when you select that model and model year, for both L/H and R/H drive vehicles: "7.0L V8 NO CARBURETOR" with "8 SPD AUTO TRANS ZF 8HP70 4WD" transmission. That's one big engine! LOL, wonder what that means. Needless to say, no other documents (owner manuals, shop manuals or otherwise) are available yet. Surely a typo? Umberto B
