Dave on your Sat Nav Screen you will have a small box in the corner with TMC on it, that's if you have it of course. If it's not recieving (happens sometimes because it relies on a radio signal) it will have a red line through it Mr. Green

Hi, just checked your excel DG - thanks.
Does anyone know what the Causeway Gray color looks like? It's a new colour, isn't it?

Causeway Grey is not in the current UK D4 brochure (dated July) so I guess it is replacing Orkney.

I do find it weird that LR still insists in changing colours and specifications without providing advanced details to customers/dealers ahead of the change date. Given the long lead-times for cars many customers order one colour only to find the colour has been deleted by the time the car is built.

It is the only manufacturer I have come across that revels in 'pot luck' with specification changes. Makes a nonsense of the OTR prices that the regulations insist that dealers display. I count myself as a reasonably informed Discovery customer but in truth I have little idea of the final price and specification of the D4 that I just ordered.

Of course if the specification improves whilst the price remains constant the customer is happy. If it goes the other way the customer can be quite miffed. The reason I ended up with a 'nearly new' D3 (having had the intent to purchase new) was being presented with a D3 that had been ordered by a customer who was a little disgruntled to find the spec she thought she had paid for as standard had been reduced, but the price remained (she ordered an HSE which, at the time, had bluetooth, rear aircon and tints - by the time of build these had moved to the cost options sheet).

Ah well, moan over.

I think it's the chance you take in ordering a factory build close to a spec changeover I guess...and LR will always fall back on their 'right to change spec without notice' ......you would hope that dealers who have taken orders for 2013my's will have already called their customers with the news of any changes though eh Thumbs Up
