Hi there is quite a lot of these on remaps, but hardly anyone saying ive had one and the power and economy is --------- .
I am pretty sure I am going to have it done just would like to find out a bit more what I can expect .

Idealy you need a second ECU aswell ...
Being as they have to open up your ecu to chip it ..it could be an issue with warranty .
Get a second ecu ...then they can be swapped if any issues G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

See what I mean ,has no one had a remap on a D4.
But no one has posted anything about their results ,someone must have had it done .
If I have anything done I always talk to people who have had it done , I have messaged Pete from BAS seems a top bloke he has done his D4 ,just want to get a few opinions .

I went down the spare ECU route for warranty etc asked pete at BAS to "chip" it got my original ECU copied onto second ECU (bought off wiggs ) he then remapped the copied ECU. My D4 compared to my chipped D3 used to pull like a train in its standard guise! Now it pulls and goes like a Rocket !!!
I can also swap ecus at will in about 10 mins Club Forum Criminal !!!
