Then I suggest (note that is in itself a colloquialism; I strongly believe) you should moderate your calling people stupid.*

After the meeting May/Macron and his declarations it seems more and more like the picture below (but without the sun and the nice weather)
Lets hope they can go back to the table quickly with clear positions. So far it did look like nothing was happening and then there was a huge rush at the end to try to agree on something. That would be more difficult to do in the second phase. Time is passing and it seems that no discussions and meetings are happening

Funny because when I look the news over internet I really find little on BBC regarding Brexit (and very little is mentioned in non UK press also in EU)
Guess now they are terrorised to say anything particularly if it can be considered negativeIt takes all sorts (to make a world).

Am I reading this right.
Macron has stated publicly that I there was to be a referendum in France the vote would be to leave the EU!
We seem to be in a different ball game. Wonder how many other EU member states feel the same? Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

It's probably best to watch the interview rather than the press interpretation.

In the meantime in UK
Quote:
The Guardian-ICM survey that found 47 percent of people favoured a vote on the final Brexit deal, with 34 percent opposed. Excluding undecideds, 58 percent supported a new vote, giving it a 16-point lead over 42 percent who were against it.

And?
Bit like saying 62.374% of people wouldn’t support an invasion of Iraq if asked now.......

The only differences are that Brexit has not yet even happened and it is to resist to an invasion
Those are only polls but it is interesting that more and more people seem to be talking about a new vote
Even Farage suggested it right? It takes all sorts (to make a world).

The sad story in reality is May making her "how great we are" speech to an empty audience after other leaders packed the house out. The UK ego, as empty as the Brexiteers
