Mike, MrsDSL has clocked this thread and has a warning for you. Make too good a job of it and it won't be cooking for the week, it'll become more of a permanent vocation. Whistle Whistle

Cooking that’s dabbling with the unknown.

If we were supposed to cook the good lord wouldn’t have given us crispy pancakes.

Tonight I cooked Mediterranean Meatballs and Tagliatelle. The sauce was a little thin so boiled it to death in a saucepan to thicken it, small meatballs are there underneath!! All from a packet and the meatballs premade from Morrisons on offer with other meats, 3 packs for £10. This week that makes total spend on meat £10 plus £1.48 for the liver for 4 meals and some leftovers in the freezer! Working on less than £5 a day all in:whistle:

Not my favorite for the week, but SWMBO really liked it so that counts as a success! 8)

Dinner was much nicer tonight:

Chicken, leek and bacon bake, had to use breadcrumbs instead of cheese for the topping as I can't eat the stuff..... Rolling Eyes

SWMBO went back for seconds and then polished it off having thirds. Shocked

Another meal for under £5 and Censored easy to make using a packet mix. Wink
