Was that an easy change and how much did it cost you? I would like full length rails...

Got back from the half term holiday week in Dorset. Three kids two guinea pigs and a hamster. Coffee machine, fishing gear, everthing but the kitchen sink, oh and SWMBO. New Rhino roof bars absolutely solid and not too noisy. Off roaded a bit at the back of chesil beach Fantastic truck for carrying so much stuff in so much comfort
Hopefully i have just fixed the B pillar tick too. Seems ok after a short test drive. Fingers crossed

Removed sill covers and treated the cavities with Dinitrol. Pretty pleased with what I found, only a bit of surface rust here and there which is not bad for nearly 14 years old! I had welded my D1 several times by that age!

Had front suspension arms replaced by local Indy. They were clonking away quite badly. Wish I had had them done ages ago. The whole car feels much better now. Warranty Direct authorised the repairs so that's good. haven't had the cheque from them yet though...D1 300Tdi - gone

Finally passed MOT after replacing rear offside bearing and dirt shield. local MOT station got stopped doing it by a VOSA spot check. Took VOSA 3 hours have no idea what they were hoping to find in that time? Rechecked today and everything good . Thanks to Mike in Dundee. At the same time replaced air reservoir as hissing apparent. Yes it was leaking but can’t complain after 12 years.Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

New upper and lower front suspension arms fitted with new drop links.
Next task is to get the rear upper and lower arms fitted.
Also had an engine oil and filter change
In three years of ownership she hasn’t let me down.
