United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Auto Rimini RedDiscovery 3

Just called Trinity in Hinckley. They said £280+VAT, got them down to £280 Inc. VAT.
They will even come to Leicester and pick it up.

Mini-result.

My first service is now due so rang MJ Fews who quoted £235 incl VAT. As I bought the car from Hunters in Bristol, I gave them a call, and they quoted £310. But when I mentioned that Fews asid they would do it for £235, they rang back and matched the price.

Here in Oz I paid $295 for first service. Sounds like the UK prices are a bit rich.

Cheers

Okay, had the first service yesterday. Excellent service from Trinity in Hinckley I must say.

They've obviously updated the gearbox software as requested, as it feels like I have a new box. The shifts were dreadful before, but are now almost imperceptible - a vast improvement. Don't think they've updated the ECU map, as it still feels pretty much as quick as before, though fuel economy readout does seem improved.
They could have bloody washed it though - especially seeing as they've doused the rear wiper arm (and half the tailgate) in WD40.

I called Lookers for a service price........and subsequently booked in at Beadles in Sidcup.

Beadles were excellent.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did Beadles charge you?
I'm looking to have my first service soon.
