Well done Gareth!
They were scrapping the barrel with the 2 letters in favour of the article!
Some say the glass is half full. Others that it is half empty. I say 'Are you drinking that?"

Also I've read "Fuelling the Debate" from the current issue of Land rover monthly mag in Tesco, very good read as well.

a simple look at the break down of accident statistics shows who are the real dangerous drivers on our roads:
In-depth Accident Causation Study of Young Drivers (S201V)
'Young drivers, especially young males, have relatively more accidents than other drivers do. In absolute terms, young drivers have three to four times as many accidents a year as older drivers and even allowing for their relative numbers in the population, their accident involvement is about 2.5 times higher than older drivers.'

Independant forced to apologise to Mitsubishi
In todays paper on page 11 in the Home News in brief section, there is a small article referring to the 4x4 Public Enemy number 1 article that caused so much derision.
"The front page story on 23rd June about 4x4 cars was illustrated witha picture of a Mitsubishi Shogun V6, a vehicle which is no longer on sale. We wish to make it clear that it was not our intention to suggest that this car, or indeed Mitsubishi 4x4's in general, performed any worse than their competitors nor that their drivers were irresponsible. In addition we apologise to Mitsubishi for altering the picture of the car"
Well, it would seem that Mitsubishi are standing up for themselves, something that I do not see Land Rover doing very much. I would say that the Indy are probably regretting runnning the story now.
The fact that they saw fit to doctor the image speaks volumes about how they bent the truth in many ways, in favour of journalistic sensationalism.
