Problems fitting swan neck towing hitch |
|
I'm having problems with the swan neck tow hitch.
Basically the pin that retracts when you turn the green handle doesn't retract far enough to allow the tapered shaft to locate fully home thus letting the pin then locate in slot that prevents it dropping out. Can someone do me a favour please and check that when they wind the green handle, the pin retracts flush with the body/shaft or does it protrude? if it protrudes, how do you fit the towing hook fully home? The hole is clean and clear.
Any assistance gratefully received. It's doing my napper in.
