Would oval tube not be weaker thn round/square tube. Unless it was used in the vertical plane rather than the oval on the horizontal.
That sounds strange but makes sense to me.

They go for close on FR money for a used LR one, so you may be in for a loooooong waitI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I wouldn't change anything, bit of grip tape on them and they're fine, but belial seems to think they're 'badly desinged'
Yes just expressing my opinion. The 'DESIGN' (thanks for pointing out the typo). I thought that the picture was in fact the aftermarket steps not the LR original, hence my opinion was that the steps were better designed from the point of view of the user. specifically the bottom step and top step are better shaped and seem more "climbable"
Obviousely the issue is that the land rover parts shop is not advertising the steps correctly. If they are picturing the steps as FR aftermarket steps and displaying a picture of LR steps.
Hence why I thought the FR ones were a better design as I didn't relise I was looking at the orignal LR ones.
If there was anything that could be changed. I would make the steps full hight to the bottom of the lower loading bay lip. make them electric and brand them "stenna"
