Roofbar Cycle carrier?

Anybody help me, I am looking for cycle carriers too fit the genuine roof bars and NOT the rear carrier as I have no tow bar fitted.

Are they available? Thumbs Up

they are genuine LR parts (actually they are branded LR - but are actually Thule manufactured just like the Thule proride 591).

Nick will get you a discounted price - they retail at around £90 - but u'll be paying less Wink

just stuck my two back on the roof last night ready for hols Very Happy - next to the pads for the boards to go on 8)

I use Mont Blanc Barracuda. I can just about get 4 on my genuine bars and can fit two adult bikes and two 20" childrens bikes on them (could probbaly get adults on instead but it is tight)

The benefit of these is that when you put the bike on them the front wheel goes into a slot so bike stays upright on it's own while you then can let go of the bike to do the fixings etc.

I bought two a few months ago via someone up north for a lot less than below - I think about £55 each.

I think there are some pictures in my gallery

I also use 4 Mont Blanc Barracuda carriers on my LR Roofbars and load up 4 full size bikes without too much trouble.

How does the Barracuda fit to the LR bars - does it have bots which fix in the channel? Does anyone know if the Altera Gera fit the LR roofbars?

The Barracuda bars do have bolts that slide into the roofbars, they are dead easy to fit and remove
