Same thing happened to mine, but it was after SWMBO came back from work minus the strip. A quick search of her workplace soon turned up the trim. The good news is that if it does fall off its easy to find due to its size. The bad news for me was that mine came off after a tree stump had jumped out of the hedgerow at SWMBO's workplace and tugged it off I have to say that the rivets did look past there best, mind they are now 6 years old. I drilled them out and bought a rivet gun, the rivets though were too small, so another trip to B & Q for some longer ones required.

Hi Chrisdisco, join the club of owners who have D3's that Landrover "don't agree have a problem with the sidesteps" - YEAH RIGHT!!! A search on here will let you see how many do!! I was 18 days out of 3yr warranty and got knocked back. A real grovelling letter to LR Customer services produced a goodwill £200 inc vat to be spent on LR products or services which was better than a kick in the b******s.
