Visit the Chinese Take Away or Local Chip Shop and take their old vegatable oil away.
Filter it, then mix 93 parts of oil with 3 parts of white spirit.
Place into Disco3 and bingo away you go. Just smells like a chip shop if you are following. Cheap, but excellent.

Time may come when we need to do this when there is no Oil left in the ground.
Do you have to use old-cooking oil, can't you just go to the cash & carry and buy a drum of the clean stuff?
Have you done this yourself BN, or just a suggestion.

Sorry, it's all doom and gloom from me this morning

Slimer, if the tax man declared more to us, we would be far better off. How can we have a Scottish Government in England, Blair, Brown, Darling and about 80 more. Brown is a true Scott with his pockets sewn up.
Have I tried the fuel, yes and it goes well, but it does stink like a chip shop behind and yes you can use fresh, no difference. Slimer is uring on the safe side and quite right. I may try it in the D3 I have today as I am about down to 70 miles of diesel and my local Chinese is very flendly.

Oh yes. If it was a V8 a few cow flatulations would project the car along quite well also.
Don't forget if you want to tune the diesel up, then a good oil used in a curry is the easiest way of chipping, sorry TC only joking.

But then what are the other 4 parts? Crispy Duck? Tsing Tao beer?
Sorry - pedantry mode off now

So can you mix up a Gallon of Cooking Oil plus White Spirit at 93/7 ratio, and then add it to your vehicle which may or may not have existing Diesel in it?
I was always told not to use too much cooking oil as it wasn't good for you

93:3 is the ratio. Too much cooking oil, is not good for sure, slip everywhere.

Oh.
So for every 31 litres of Cooking Oil add 1 litre of White Spirit.
Is it any particular Cooking Oil? I mean is it Vegetable Oil and Sun Flower Oil the same thing.
Does Cooking Oil mix with Diesel, or do you get a scum forming?

Not sure about the scum, but vegatable oil is the only oil.
