I'm likely getting the D3 soon to take in for a thorough going over, inside and out. As part of my back-to-new restoration, I want to remove the label stuck to the back windscreen advertising the dealer in which it was born, and replace it with my new DISCO3.CO.UK sticker I've bought for it
Any ideas how I should go about removing this? It looks like it's all individual letters stuck on. I don't want any sticky residue or anything, as I want to be able to put the DISCO3 sticker in this place. Thanks in advance for any help
...
Would also like to do the same to the Volvo (which has the sticker in the exact 'format'):
Cheers. 2004 TDV6 SE Zambezi Silver

you can get rid of the sticky residue by using "Mr Sheen" spray. spray it on, leave 5 mins then wipe it all off.. Duncan

get the wife to pick at it with her fingernails !!
Seriously not a big issue. Stanley knife or similar object to lift an edge and peel back slowly. The 'Heated Screen Pipes' will not be hurt. Anyway if your central heating to the window fails, you've always got your AC. Not what it was....tbh can't be ar$ed with nonsense anymore

Its not a real problem if you break them. All you need to do is get some metal paint and a very small brush and paint a line over the 'pipes' where they are broken In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

bung a brick through the screen, claim off the insurance and get a brand-spanking-new screen without stickers?
no, maybe not then...
seriously though, if you get the stickers off and some of the glue remains, you'll probably need to use a solvent cleaner of some sort, with all the doors open at the time of course...
(I removed my dealer stickers the day it was delivered, so they weren't that well stuck, that's helpful isn't it ) and theeeeennn......???
