Oh indeed. The cats pants, so they are.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yes there is, the leading edge is in the opposite direction, the latest ones for LHD are DKC500220
Note that the above part numbers are detailed in a TSB dated March 2006, so it's possible that there may be superceded part numbers - although if the dealer tries to order 'old' items, this will be highlighted on their system
Went to the dealer today, and compared the DKC500220 with what I have on my car but they seem exactly the same. I'll go for the valeo's thenTDV6 HSE Stornaway Grey, black interior

All I can say is that given the amount of rain we have had in this part of the world over the last week, the new blades have been well-tested! Whatever Westover fitted, they have done the trick - totally silent.I was taught to be cautious.
This is the downside of recommending stuff...... Pelyma is going to stuff his wiper arms up my exhaust if his Valeo's don't do the trick.....
I don't think you'll be disappointed Mr P.
With the blades that is. Not stuffing your arms up.... I'll stop there.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Hi Pelyma, have you got your new wiper blades yet? Were they easy to fit? I'm thinking of getting some myself but just want to make sure they do the job before I commit myself. Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

No they haven't arrived yet. Might have to give them to the 8 year old son to fit, or get TFC to come down as I'm a bit hopeless with DIY stuff DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Yup, fitted mine 3 days ago. Plenty of rain since then. Had a rain-soaked run from Hampton Court back to Dorset down the M3/M27/A31 this afternoon...... in absolute silence
Fuel economy was better too Although that may be due to a dose of Millers diesel injector cleaner stuff I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I've found the UM665 blades listed on ebay for just about every type of car, but no D3. Is there a particular set that I should go for (i.e. fiesta, BMW) or are they all the same? Obviously the rubber bit will be the same, but what about the fittings?'

I think that is the blade you want says about Rover 75 and some Alfas. I bought from the site ND linked to and they came no problem post free, great service and easy to fit. Fingers crossed they work, or I might be visiting Dorset DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Brian, Valeo X-Trm blades come in a variety of fits, ranging from UM620 to the UM695. X-Trm UM(xxx) is the blade type, while the number is the fitment. The 665s fit a whole bunch of different cars, including the D3. Order the UM665 regardless of what car it is listed as fitting and it will fit the D3 I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
