| Alalogue Clock in your D3 |
|
If you have a PDA or a mobile running widows mobile put a screensaver clock on it.
You will need pocket candy sreensaver to run them:
Standard one is a Ferrari or you can have a swiss watch which moves.

But with a play with photo shop and some cut and pasting of files:

That's better.
or you can run a flash program for a large clock eg:

But other ones are available.
Do a search for them but some sites want you to pay but others are fee.
If you can't find them let me know and I will try to find where mine came from.
Also how to change the picture to your own. "A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both- and deserve neither"

Anything would keep better time than the useless digital clock on the D3!

Could you tell me more about the gismo you've got your PDA hanging on please? I've been looking for something like this for ages. Windscreen mounts are ok - but the tell tale rings spell broken glass!
Thanks,
ronk

The cradle is in fact a window mounting that came with the Garmin unit. I pop rivetted a disc of aluminium to the side of the centre opening and used double sided tape to attach the disc that came with it. The winscreen suction mount is attached to that. Any shiiny hard plastic would work for the suction cup.
It works well but like on the windscreen, it needs occasional re-attachment.
Then just run the cable behind the stereo/air con facia to the socket.
Very neat and tidy.
Glad to have aneasily readable clock though.
You can't read the one on the radio at all with polarised sunnies on. "A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both- and deserve neither"

Yep, phone holder.
It works ok but you need a proper cradle if you want dial out. "A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both- and deserve neither"

The Console clock on the 07MY (that I have) is so small, and reversed out 'white'-on-black, that it's almost impossible to see - and certainly is for the passenger.
I can't see why they couldn't have programmed a LARGE clock that appears there when there's nothing else to display...
