Well its pretty much finished , just the wire rope needs spooling on , but i need a second pair of hands to get it nice and tight ...oh er missus...
Put some pictures up here if any bodys interested.
It looks a lot of work , but i decided to make all the connections etc in a waterproof box ,so it took a bit more time.
To be honest the box that came with the winch could have just been bolted on and saved a lot of time.
The brackets RLD made up fitted perfectly , only thing i had to adjust was the threaded bar that holds the hawse fairlead. If i had of used the original it would of ment a lot more cutting of the bumper cover, as there was more bits to cut out.
Just need to get the cable on and get stuck ...... to try it out
Im now making a bracket for a spare camera i have to watch the cable , done all my connections into the sat nav screen
Hope you like the pics ...and a big thanks to Ray again for all his hard work . Perhaps i can repay the favour one day by winching you out of somewere G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
