United Kingdom 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Manual Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

Manual, in a ' I-drive-the-car, not-the-car-driving-me' testosterone fuelled way... there's something about a perfect gear change when there's a repmobile or a wermacht staff car up your @rse that's ooooohhh so more satisfying than hitting the kickdown - and of course, YOU get to choose the fuel consumption, not the gearbox Wink

Must admit it's the best auto box I've ever tried, but it costs more to buy, more to run and like all autos more to fix when it goes wrong!

It's a NCO on the HSE... I can't be in control in the house so controlling the disco 3 is my only option Embarassed Embarassed

2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Auto Ipanema SandDiscovery 4

We have an auto and love it to bits. Had a manual as a loaner for a day when ours was in for service and found it a real pig to drive by comparison with the auto.

I wish I could get that. I just pootled around Norfolk for two days, 800 miles this week, and 25.7 mpg is the average.

'cattle class syndrome' ? isn't that what the footrest to the left of the clutch pedal's for? anyway, DVT is only onset by the lack of movement.... think you mean RSI Laughing Laughing Laughing

I thought the footrest next to the clutch pedal was a manual tyre inflator?
I've heard of RSI, isn't that something made up by secretaries to get time off to do their hair and nails? Shocked

why do they need time off? from experience, most of them do it at work anyway Rolling Eyes
The far - left 'pedal' is for extra braking force when the yanks see a corner approaching.... from 50 miles (in the motherland, it's blanked off Wink )
