Hi Discowex
So my powers of deduction tell me that's got to be somewhere close to Wexford! But don't worry - I'm no threat to your fish stocks. A local (very helpful) guy - up near the Tralee lifeboat told me that if I went into the little bay over there, I couldn't fail to catch something. Needless to say, I proved him wrong!! Wifey found it highy amusing that I spent all this time and money to chuck more into the sea than I ever came back with. I was taught to be cautious.

I have spent a fortune feeding the fish in the sea and freshwater for years!
My best ever fishing was in Wexford where I drove along the beach for about a mile and caught Bass all evening. Shame the date was 30/5/06 because theres a ban on the Bass!!!!

Thanks fisherman - nice to know I'm not alone. Incidentally - have some great pictures of the D3 in a mini sand-storm on Inch beach - will have to see if I can upload them! I was taught to be cautious.

It wouldn't be called fishing it would be called getting if it was easy!
However Discowex is entirely right when he says the fishing is fantastic in Wexford. You do need to go to the right places but there are people around who can point you in the right direction. I use http://www.worldseafishing.com/ and make good use of their forums. I have met up with some great guys who have become good friends over the years and additionally have been put in the right place for good fish.
I have had 5lb Bass out of the Thames next to the QE bridge!!! Who'd have thought it?
