4.4 V8: chip tuning and top speed limiter
hi guys,
Just bought a V8 HSE and was wondering if there are any good chip tuning companies.
I found these but I find it hard to believe their claim in torque gain:
Also, is it possible to remove the top speed limiter?
thanx!

information
No on the Chip, but the latest firmware installed at your dealer will certainly be good to get. That is just a warning, yes it can be turned off, read the manual.

So I found how to turn off the over speed warning. But what is the real top speed of the V8 then?

That's what I meant in the first place. Can the limiter be turned off so it will go beyond 195 km/h?

Why not? It seems such a shame when you have 300 bhp on board. A Range (Sport) V8 goes well over 200m/hph so why not a D3?
