My LR-dealer is a good one!
They fitted the TomTom device in a proper way (see gallery)! They fixed the original windscreen holder keeping all functions!
In the same occasion I asked them to provide a ambient temp display w/o any additional 'superstructure'. They found a good solution with the 'RDS Digital Thermometer' that shows the temp over the existing RDS radio (pls see also http://www.bizrate.co.uk/caraccessories1/i...441-.html) reporting that "it's impossible to connect the part with the basic radio because the antenna cable is not the 'normal DIN one"....?
Somebody can help
Suggestions are welcome.

even if the antenna connector isn't DIN, the antenna cable is surely standard. It's just a matter of cutting it apart, adding 2 DIN connectors on both sides, and have your temp-meter put in between .. can't be that hard (I suppose). D4
