How about instead of etching the lettering as per the RRS ones you picture, doing the reverse so the lettering is shiny and the background is etched, for us less bling types.

I'm also interested, stainless is fine for me, a matt finish would be preferable.

No problem, please wait for first rainy day here and I'm sure I can get authentic mud colour 8)
All,
Artwork unfortunately does not allow reverse, if you see what I mean.
I get the D3 on Tuesday and will attempt to get the prototypes finished same day.
