How are you getting on with the new AT3's
Time has come for some new tyres and these are favourite so far. They will be replacing my Duratracs that have been great, just a shame the new ones are Q rated.
So was wondering what the GG's are like on and off road and in all weather conditions.
Found them for £144 each fitted not that far from me. Working the next couple of weekends so won't be changing them for a few weeks though.
Cheers

Duratecs are rated Q? Isn't that 99 mph? That's faster than I have ever driven my D4, are you allowing a safety margin or do you drive faster than I do?MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

More of a safety margin. Even at legal motorway speed you are getting a lot closer to the rating of the Duratracs than the AT3's. It is a shame really as I do like my Duratracs.D4 MY15 SE TECH

Happy with AT3s I’ve been running since Easter. I thought Duratracs were the best tyre yet for the D3 but wasn’t happy with the Q rating either.
I’d say the AT3s are quieter on the road, ride smoother and grip just as well. Don’t expect they’ll be quite as good off-road but haven’t been anywhere really muddy with them yet.

Had mine on since May and done lots of road, including a trip down through France, and a lots of trekking across the Pyrenees. No complaints so far...apart from silly driving that cost me one side wall!!!Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! The rating itself will have a true upper safety margin that far exceeds the D4's top speed ...it's sad to write off such a great tyre because of that.

The speed rating is also the maximum speed at full rated load. Who wants to fully load up a vehicle and then set speed records?Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

My Duratracs have be great so far and it wouldn't bother me getting them again in a Q rating when these need replacement as I don't drive at those speeds loaded or unloaded! I still have 2 new S rated duratracs so if anyone has 2 more kicking around let me know then I will have a set
My concern with the grabbers would be if they still have the chocolate sidewall issue!
