Harsh ride since new front wishbones
Maybe it's me. But since have new front wishbones fitted a couple of weeks ago the ride seems a lot harsher. Strait after there was fitted it drove like an absolute pig due to alignment issues so I took it for a 4 wheel alignment and it transformed the way it drove apart from this harshness. Only way to describe it is it's like you've put 100psi in the front tyre's. I've checked the pressures and they're no different to what they was before. Plus since I've had the alignment done the steering wheel is slightly off when going in a straight line.

Standard. But I did think maybe because the new ones are a bit tighter might be why the ride feels harsher

+1 if they where locked up with the wheels hanging it will not only give a hard ride but dramatically shorten their life.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I wouldn't have a clue. If that was the case is it just a case of cracking the bolts off when sitting normally and tightening again?

Bolts was definitely not done with wheels hanging. Guess it's just the fact they're new?

. Had 2015disco 4 in the shop today noisy front off side suspension, coil sprung. It has only done 70000 Km, drove it on a cobbled road has dreadful knocking worse than my 1996 pajero with 350000 Km on the clock!!! According to reports the problem most likely lower arm bushes. What about the shocks are they likely to have failed as well? Very disappointing for a car that has been carefully driven from new. What is best solution - poly lower bushes or standard. How badly will the poly bushes affect NVH (noise, vibration, harshness). Without doubt the car is amazingly comfortable on Tarmac but feels totally soggy when driving fast on medium rough and totally unable to cope with speed on rough roads.
