De-Tangoed but now weird issue

I have de tangoed my Disco and it looks much improved however I have a query about a strange problem thats now come up. When re-installed the drivers sidelight was not working, bulb swapped still no good. So I took off the other headlamp to peer inside to compare but all looked the same. I then re-installed the drivers headlight and the side light was working fine. Happy days! However on re installing the passenger one that had been fine before, now thats not working so I swapped bulbs etc but still no joy. Darkness and rain have prevented me checking that when one works the other doesn't but it seems a coincidence. Am I missing something here?

When you say lamps, which bit do you mean?

I tried LEDs, both way around, and also normal bulbs. My guess is bulb holder or bulb holder connections but just strange the way it was fine until taken out and the other side installed.

Before you try anything daft, before making disconnections, allow the car 20 minutes for the BCM to shut down. You may just need to let the BCM catch up, especially if you turned the ign on with the lamp disconnected.

Lived with it a week and still the same. Hope to get some time to have another look in daylight this time, over the weekend.

Final update, with weather improved and some daylight o work I sorted it with a tiny screwdriver and some emery paper. Bad contact at the bulb holder.
