+1 for retapping the threads in the sills. I couldn’t be ***** to get a correct tap and it made the job a pain. Had to work every bolt in and out repeatedly to clear the threads of paint/muck. A tap would have made the job a breeze. Cheap as chips on EBay, even if you use it for just this job and then bin them.

How did you get on with the shire sliders aerialmark, are you happy with them?
Was out laning yesterday and damaged the side steps on the disco, had been thinking of getting some rock sliders later in the year but think I need them sooner rather than later!

I had the ones from ebay (£260 on there you have to ring them) and who goes round the shows at £200 (though I bought mine second hand).

Perfectly adequate!
 D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven

Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..
