| Errors when on a garage ramp |
|
If you have had work carried out say in a tyre fitters garage, you may find that the car displays an error when you restart it.
A way of stopping this is to put the radio on low before leaving the vehicle to the fitters.
When they jack the car up it will self adjust and the settle. On returning to the vehicle it will have no errors, see simple.

I know, but I have proven it, joint venture. Not sure Slimers works all the time, this does. One downside is that it adjusts itself too much, which un nerves the guys under the ramp.

Does this apply to 2 post / 4 post or both?
I have my own 2 post at work and don't wish to give the elctronics any further reason to quit!

The car is likely to have a wobbly on any ramp. It is the leg sensors that tell the car something is different. It should not be a problem, just silly.

nothing... it just keeps the data bus alive... that way, the suspension isn't shocked to find that the wheels weren't in the same position as when it went to sleep TorqTune
