Just remind us again.....How many vehicls you have registered in France????
As said, without a C of C you wont be able to register a UK registered car in France.
Perhaps, now it's done on line,it is possible ,but with info that is not on older V5's.

Not sure who you were addressing that comment to but in the 10 years we have been here I have registered four commercial vehicles and three personal vehicles.
My D3 is 2006 and it looks like I don't need a coc now. As I said before I will know more in a couple of weeks. Just doing our trailer first then the D3, as you will know the trailer needs to be registered here as well.An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore

Addressing Mr Tom.
I can only give advise based on what I have found registering 8 diferent Land Rovers & numerous other vehicles.
As I said in my last post. Now it is done on line, things may have changed.....For the better????
I diobt it,being as this is France,& if something that should be simple can be made complicated, then the French are expert at that.
Good luck with the trailer D&G,I have heard plenty of horror story's of people needing to make numerous visits to the DREAL.

Marc.
You are right about trailers, I gave up with trying to register an old Ifor trailer a couple of years ago, now have a 2017 trailer with a coc and type approval number so hoping it will be easier. But who knows.
My info on the online process comes from a mechanic who helps his expat clients register their cars. I hope he is right but it will all change again next year anyway. An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore

COC
My LHD D3 was an EX MOD and I tried through a very helpful contact at JLR as I needed to re register for UK. Contact was very helpful and the sad bit was that she could not give me the piece of paper (UK MOD regulation) What I found is that by speaking to VOSA there are ways of getting an individual CoC if absolutely necessary by getting it specifically tested. I did not in the end need it as D3 over 10 years old. There are many tunes to play with VOSA try if all other routes fail.D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)

I got a CoC from my supplying dealer free of charge, 2 years after I bought it so that I could re-import it back into the UK. Maybe not helpful, but if it's been serviced at a main stealer in the last couple of years, possibly try them to see if they can get hold of one for you.
