Remote central locking help
My keys haven't worked for remote locking for quite some time. I never bother locking up here but want to have it ready for sale as I got a more bling D3 as a replacement.
I've re-done the green/white splice and it gets a solid 12.8V
My keys report reprogramming successfully with IID and I've tried reprogramming remotes that work with my other D3 but still no response to the remotes.
I've checked and replaced fuses 13,43,49.
I've done a hard reset, twice.
Nothing worked so far.
Any advice on what to try next?Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

I think the remote blippers are a one use item, once programmed, that's it. They are not reprogrammable again so you need to buy a new remote.Mods:

I have remotes that did work.
I'll see about putting a new battery in the ones that did work previously though.
The one that I reprogrammed from my new D3 doesn't remote unlock it after trying to programme it on the old D3 so hope I haven't done something irreversible to it.
Haven't added/changed the new D3 on the IID and assume I'll need to do that before I can attempt to (re)programme the remote back to the new D3?Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Well.
Measured batteries and they were fine, but...
They both had broken legs to the circuit board.
New battery in one and it's fully working.
Haven't done the battery in the other but hoping it'll be the same...trying to get the circuit board out without destroying it as it is glued (everywhere!) with superglue to everything else!Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto
