No more waving at other Defender owners!
You can still wave at them, would be interesting to see how many wave back.
I can confirm, that none return the wave. We were being silly on a journey a couple of weekends ago, waving to all the defenders, not a single wave back.

I rest my case m'lud, they are just waving to other Deafner owner to signify how manifestly uncomfortable, unhappy and downright grumpy they are with their choice of veeeeeehickle.
Ducking for cover.

Thanks for the feedback; nice to see it’s as friendly as on defender2.com.
Not worrying about doors and bonnets being nicked (again...) will definitely be a very nice change. And the driving experience is certainly leaps and bounds beyond the 110 - smooth, quiet, power, and no drafts from the doors. The 110 has always made me smile though, and people always want to talk about it. But that’s not enough any more.
Shame about the waving, but I guess anonymity has its advantages!
Anyway, I’ve had a quick chat with the Indy today and I’ll be paying a deposit on Monday. D4 luxury here we come!

I always laughed when waving thinking that it wasn’t so much ‘oh, your special too, you also drive an iconic vehicle’ more like a wave of pity ‘oh, poor you, you also have to put up with all that comes with ownership’ !!
My wife found a bit of furniture this morning she wanted...80 miles away. Can we go pick this up today please? Yeah sure, will easily fit in the back with seats down and the drive out will be nice but more importantly when it rained the windows didn’t steam up and our feet didn’t get wet
