Vehicle enquiry shows it to have M1 type approval not N1 commercial but advert shows a DIY commercial convertion on a base model D3 and they are planning to charge VAT on the purchase price!
Genuine mistake or just being a bit naughty?
Road tax will be a bit steep compared to a commercial too.Stu

I wonder has it been imported from Ireland. Over here that is how a lot of the D3 commercials look. Mine would look like that if I emptied it They were brought into Ireland as 5 seat and converted to 2 seat commercials. But they were reclassified as N1 here. I can’t see the speedometer to see if it’s showing KM or miles.

Appears to be a UK vehicle, you can see the mileage and MPH speedo on their added video also he has the V5 which apparently states 2 owners and registered June 09.
He states on video the you can claim your Vat back but I really am not sure he should be charging Vat on a secondhand M1 estate car(he mentions it's an estate car when reading the V5)
Perhaps I've got it wrong, someone on here my know more than me about it.Stu

I watched the video and you are correct it’s not an Irish import. It is done almost the same as an irish commercial D3 with a few slight differences.

You're both right, it was built in August 2007 as a base model 5 seater with kph speedo and destined for Ireland to be commercialised. After it was converted the order for this one and several others was cancelled.
It was returned to the UK and sat around, probably at Gaydon until it was registered as a car in June 2009, during this time a mph speedo was fitted for the UK market.
This was according to LR Assistance Tech who had a sister vehicle to this one in silver as his work vehicle. He gave me this story after spotting the VX09 reg on my D4...
