What's missing?
Maybe nothing, but today is my fist day with my new D3 I actually bought nearly two weeks ago and I've spotted holes at the top of the lower tailgate. Plastic top edge, there are two horizontal recesses, both with an apprent screw hole at each end. What's missing?
Thank you!

Pic would be most useful. too quick.
Could just be the screws that hold the plastic trim in place.

You have indeed. There’s nothing in that groove, it’s just shaped that way.

Mike,
Without a photo I'd take a guess that there should be Philips head screws and little rubber caps. There should be 4 across the top a the lower tailgate finisher. You'd be better off removing the whole thing and making sure not bits have snapped inside. I super glued mine back together have bought screws and caps from stealer.

Thank you for explaining that; I must get some screws. The capping has clearly (I now realise) been removed at some point in the past.

Mike,
My advice would be to remove the trim panel and check the plastic where the screws go through. Mine required some super glue. Then you'll need some screws and finishing caps from your local stealer.
