So having just bought my 66 plate Graphite with std 19" wheels I am looking for some AT tyres but can't make my mind up.
I understand the std size tyre to be 255/55/19 and that Goodyear Duratrac do a tyre in that size but could I get a different size that will fill the arches slightly more without changing the wheels?
Any help would be welcome and I used to run MTR's on my old D3 so aware of a possible noise issue if I go too agressive "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I always thought if you alter the diameter of the wheel and tyre package you can damage the transmission.
Ie if you got bigger wheels you got lower profile tyres so the diameter remained the same IID Tool

I thought you could alter the settings in the vehicle for most wheel/tyre sizes?
If the rolling diameter is also the same for all 4 wheels why should the size matter or am I just being stupid lol "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

The issue is if you go too big it requires more torque to get the car moving therfore putting more starin on driveline components.
Thats why I said as long as you dont go too mad size wise you are OK.

Ah, now I get what you were saying - seems the only size the Duratrac comes in is 255/55/19 anyway unless I go for a 20" wheel "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
