AMK rebuild
Hi All, I have just swapped out my AMK compressor due to not getting up to pressure quick enough and therefore the dreaded driving height only problem. Is it worth now fixing the old AMK to keep as spare or sell on and if so which is my best kit option. Thanks

Yes, it is very much worth holding onto! You probably have a seal leaking and the desiccant and filters will need replacing. Just do that much, and don't try and split the piston/cyl assy unless you are very competent at doing so. I find there is usually very little wrong with them and can be put back in service very quickly and cheaply.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Replace the desiccant and filters, and if you can get the seal in the pic below. Otherwise you can use a thin smear of proprietary silicone.
