Hello
After blanking the EGR, can the faulty code be clear/clean or cancel permanently with the NANOCOM?
If YES, how?
If NO, how YES ?

Someone told me that the EGR must be working to extinguish the faultcode. I have tried to delete it with my IID but the faultcode comes back all the time. P140A-00 is the code I get.
got this from Pete Bell:
"The patch is not sold for road use and no MOT is needed,, the egr patch as said on my web site is to stop limp mode which it does perfectly fine and that is its main function, as it says on the web site.....
This item is a EGR software deactivation (Limp Mode Removal) patch for MY2007> Discovery 3 non dpf cars (explicitly for off road use), its design is to deactivate the use of the egr valves during normal engine operation and is used mainly for cars that have a sticking valves and need to restore engine power and remove limp mode caused by the faulty valve. The software patch is uploaded to your IIDTool “Cloud” and collected via your GAP Diagnostic updater.
The EGR deactivation patch DOES NOT magically repair egr electrical circuit faults or codes you may have on your valves or related wiring, these should be removed or repaired separately should you wish to and are not part of this software modification."
Someone that have another solution????

Normally you need a patch approx £120 (or more)
and a tool (GAP IID BT) to upload the patch £425 (this tool is amazing though, and will diagnose every electrical ecu on the car, calibrate suspension, program keys, update software)
