photochromatc aspherical side rear mirrors
Hi Guys,
Looking for an upgrade of side rear mirrors. Current one is NAS spec, driver side flat, passenger side spherical.
Comparing to what is on the other car I'd like to have (priority in order):
1. aspherical
2. photochromatic
3. heated
BMW did such a nice combination for some of their models back in 2007 if not even earlier.
Did LR stay on pair?
Did it exist out of the factory?
How to check if mirrors are heated? It's HSE trim with cold pack, which means steering wheel is heated and I'd expected mirrors too.
What really annoys me is lack of photochromatic - did quick search on fleebay and couldn't find anything.
Aspherical shouldn't be an issue to find, should it?
Thanks!

Mercedes as fars back as 2001 (possibly even earlier) had the heated auto dimming external mirrors.

What mirrors have you got fitted? I’ve got the later mirrors fitted and I fitted the Electrochromic glass from a late FFRR L405 but if you have the 2010 to 2013 mirrors the L322 Electrochromic mirrors should fit. All you need is to run 2 wires from the existing internal mirror (assuming it’s an Electrochromic item) to the first mirror and then a splice from each of those to the second mirror (I had the correct pins for each connector). Job done.

M3bobby - many thanks for help, as always!
Would it mean to replace just the glass or full mirror with housing? If with housing - which point connects well with L319? (hinge?)
Am asking all these questions as want to avoid trial and error approach.
btw. are these mirror aspherical? I've LR4 in US spec, hence flat mirror and want to replace it.

As I see it, you have 2 choices, find some later Disco 4 mirrors for the bodies and the correct spec 2013 onwards L405 mirrors for the parts (this is what I did using eBay and wasn’t as expensive as it sounds).
Second is to find some L322 mirrors of the correct spec and use the inner parts to fit to your existing mirrors. I believe the early LR4/RRS mirrors are the same shape as the late L322.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
Mods:
TPMS (Complete but got an issue)

2013 RRS Dual View Screen fit (Complete)
2016 LR4 RSE (Complete)
2014 LR4 Homelink (Complete)
2016 FFRR Electrochromatic Wing Mirror Glass (Complete)

M3bobby thanks again.
One more question, as I've started to contemplate getting later D4 mirrors (post 2013).
Getting these, would it make it possible to get blind spot monitoring and signalization on the mirror or some other additional kit is required to get it working?
Getting that blind spot warning working is tempting, though don't want to get my D4 becoming sort of Frankenstein with just different shape of mirrors, trying to find more motivation to get that done.
