My D4 is due a MOT and the dreaded "Normal ride height only" has come up on the dash with a yellow warning triangle.. The car does not drop and drives fine, was just wondering if this would cause a MOT failure?? I cant find a definitive answer online..
Thanks

Im not an expert, but from what I know of a friend who had the issue with a 55 plate HSE that was MOT'd every year with the light on, Previously that would have passed but under the new regs I'm told it was a fail.
If you find someone with an IID tool it may be enough to reset it before the MOT so the error goes away for a pass if it is only something like a sensor thats throwing up an error.
Out of interest did you check the basics on the compressor, fuses and also relay?Must stop buying shiny toys....
Just had a mate pop over and he scanned the codes its come back as "C1A20: pressure increases too slowly when filling reservoir"..

get him to clear the codes you might be lucky and it will stay off long enough for the test to be done - still could be something easy though if it’s not dropping when it’s turned off and if you can hear the pump running- might be as simple as drying out the beads in the drierMust stop buying shiny toys....

How long does it take the compressor to switch off after starting the engine?

What dash warning lights will fail MOT
Would an "eco" amber light (i.e. no stop/start available) fail an MOT?I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
