D3 has stood unused for a month or so and went to take her for a fuel up today but battery dead. Don't suppose the cold weather has helped and should have taken it for a run but been busy fitting a new kitchen at home. I now need to access the battery.
I remember reading a thread about pushing power up the grey hook up to put some charge in the battery, enough to open the door/bonnet but although I've searched cant seem to find it. Would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Just to say I've tried the E.K.A. but just won't unlock
Thanks in advance.

Yes terminal 3 should be the negative and terminal 4 should be the live feed in your grey socket, just connect a battery charger up for a while.

The car will unlock with the emergency key regardless of the state of the battery. You may need to spray in some lube to give it a better chance, but the flat battery won't stop the key working.PAGODA
Did try the E.K.A. with lube but didn't want to damage the fob. Managed to gain access using the grey connector. Went to a caravan shop and bought the female coupler, wired in t3 and t4 plugged it in and connected the jump leads from swimbos car. after a couple on minutes there was enough power to open the doors and bonnet. Battery now on an overnight charge, no damage done. Total cost £4.
Thanks all.
