You cant double insure....you insure for loss but you shouldn't profit from it.
Sorry to contradict you but you can insure more than once but you will only get a payout on one, it's got a fancy word that slips my memory and is included in all policies in small print.
You cannot insure someone else's vehicle or property. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You can insure a car you don’t own. However, you need to let your insurance provider know that you’re not the owner or registered keeper of the vehicle.
It's not common, but you can also insure someone else's property, provided that you have an 'insurable interest' in the property. Meaning that you would incur a financial loss if the property (or contents) were to be damaged, lost or destroyed.

Agree..........I was meaning the principle of double insuring for gain. i.e the car is worth 10k, its stolen, thats 10k from this policy and 10k from that policy...your loss has already been covered so you cant claim again.

I'm shocked
Renewal through Admiral multi is £1 cheaper than last year.
2008 D3, 2020 Leon Cupra 290, and house cover
Done a search I can save £100 on Cupra but the D3 is three times what Admiral want so looks like I'll stay where I am,
Just need to sort breakdown cover out, any recommenadtions

Oddly revisited it, dropped 1000miles, added £100 and it came out at £714
