Would you or anyother guru offer a service to complete an upgrade of the screen on MY 2015 D4 HSE to the andriod version that allows all the current conectivity?Huggs.

I don't have direct experience of the 'knobbed' version but I would still recommend it over the 'knobless' one. I had that and missed the volume knob and the ease of changing inputs / sources.
My experience was a few years ago though, i reverted to an option with carplay through the original screen.

With this system you will loose timed climate options on the screen.Terrain response and 4x4 info are available in a totally different format.I will try to find an image and upload it.

I have fitted several different versions of the android upgrade on a not for profit basis for locals and friends but I don’t have the time to travel or offer a fitting service on a regular basis.
I do have a setup for sale of the octo core android 10 with the front knobs and climate screen.

Out of interest how much would the unit you have be? I'm possibly buying a D4 2010 commercial with the basic screen and would like to update to something with android auto.

Tesla style fitting service

Do you also install the Tesla style large screens on a discovery4? Would you be able to install in Rochester Kent? Also could you please come up with a quote?

I do cover Kent, so your location isn’t a problem at all.
However I’m afraid I don’t install the Tesla style screens, partly due to my insurance only covering me to supply and fit parts I have sourced from the UK, and partly as I have yet to come across a unit that is up to the quality I would be happy to put my name to.
I see many customers for other repairs and servicing jobs who have them fitted, and have yet to come across one who is 100% happy with what they’ve had installed. While I know there’s a big element of ‘horses for courses’, I just wouldn’t be happy installing them.

CDS, I thank you for the quick response and your advise. I am really keen on finding someone who can install the tesla style carplay on my vehicle, I'll keep searching, but please do let me know incase you know anyone.
