Coolant warning light coming on round corners |
|
Hi all,
Please can I have people's thoughts..
If I drive around a righthand corner the red exclamation warning comes on next to the temp gauge until I straighten up. Its only briefly as driving straight or going round lefthand turns it stays off. If I take it easy round a righthand corner it doesn't come on.
It does it from cold or warm.
Coolant level is correct.
Heater is fine.
Temp gauge is normal and doesn't fluctuate.
No dash warnings on any other time.
I can get it to do this reliably.
Any ideas
Cheers
Rich

Cheers Pete.
That's confirming something else I have noticed.. I've felt the pedal is lower recently and looking at the front pads.. I know they are getting low. I bet this is displacing the fluid.

Put the word "float" in to the search box on here and you will find lots about this.

Thanks for replies and my subject turned out to be wrongly put..
The warning light on the temp gauge below the needle was coming on.. The red circle so it was in fact low brake fluid.. Fluid displacing worn pads. There's a little bit on pads so will last till dryer weather next week with my low mileage driving but fluid topped up a touch and light staying off.
Thanks again
