No power to compressor
Suspension fail yesterday and after checking all the fuses and a full reset still had the same issue.
I thought the compressor was running but it was windy yesterday and it turns out its not running.
I have checked all the fuses again in both fuse boards relating to the compressor and they are all good but the is still no power at the compressor.
I have tested the compressor as I had removed it and if runs fine with a 12v supply so think I'm OK regarding the compressor.
Checked the voltage on both plugs an the main feed is dead the other plug has something like 5v and 12 v on it.
Could someone list ALL the fuses related to the compressor, I'm starting to think it might be a wiring issue but on the off chance I have missed a fuse it might be a handy fix.
Open to all suggestions.
Starting to panic as I need the car tonight.
Only error codes O have are U0416 and U0421 read with the nanocomDale

The main components to power the compressor are:
The 70A relay. (could be grey)
One of the large fuses.
I guess you could try removing the big relay, and stuff a bit of wire between the 2 large contacts briefly.
If you get sparking and compressor running, that leaves the relay or the ecu system at fault.
but does prove the fuse and wiring to compressor are ok

Yes I have removed the cover of the relay and operated it by hand and then the compressor runs. Going to check now is I put power across pins 85 and 86 of the relay will it operate.
I'll update once I have tested that the relay is OK.Dale

but you say that bridging connectors and the comp runs, if that's the case the relay is at fault .
try bridging the connectors again( the big ones ) don't rely on just hearing the contacts going over when bench testing relay

I tested the relay in the workshop and is is working, I pulled the cover off it and could see it operate. I then placed it back in the car with its cover off and it's not switching so its what ever tell it to operate where the issue must be.
The relay is not getting the signal to operate so replacing it will not make any diffrence from the way I see it.Dale
