epb fault
the epb goes on and holds the car ok but then wont release . i have adjusted the shoes . to release the brake i have to put it in reverse and just let it take the weight it then releases . the dash lights come on and epb fault on the display . lifting the switch without the car running i can hear it working pushing the switch down nothing . its not making screeching noises . gap tool says u2002-01 switch general electrical failure . i have ordered a new switch . anything else to look for ?2005 discovery 3 tdv6

No it's just a faulty switch, beyond that just make sure you have the shoe adjustments correct and the shoe movement is uninhibited. Bodsy's brake bible is in the Wiki section I think if you need it. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
